Rotary Pearland
The Rotary Club of Pearland chartered in 1966, is a local community, not-for-profit service organization operating under the Constitution and Recommended By-Laws of Rotary International. Our members are part of a diverse group of professional leaders - male and female business owners, managers, and professionals - who come together to address various community and international service needs.
Members of the Rotary Club of Pearland are interested in fellowship with others from the local business community and share a desire to serve in ways that require the talents and efforts of many people. Our members are our most important asset, forming the force that allows Rotary to carry out its many humanitarian efforts and achieve our mission.
The real work of Rotary takes place before and after the weekly meetings when members plan and carry out a variety of humanitarian and educational service projects in the local community and throughout the world. Through community service and other means, Rotary Club members help promote peace and understanding worldwide.
Rotary’s Avenues of Service
Members can concentrate their efforts in any combination of the four service areas identified by Rotary:
Club Service – providing service to the Rotary club to enable it to run efficiently in the spirit of fellowship.
Community Service – identifying needs in the community and addressing these needs with service projects.
Vocational Service – putting high standards of conduct into practice in the business and professional lives of Rotarians.
