On May 29, 2025, the Rotary Club of Pearland presented a $500 grant to Turner FFA student Cody Birt to support his project of raising a market calf named “Meatball.”
Why It Matters:
By investing in young agriculturalists like Cody, Rotary helps sustain Pearland’s farming heritage and encourages responsibility, leadership, and hands-on learning. These grants ensure that FFA students have the resources they need for feed, veterinary care, and fair-entry costs, building the next generation of community leaders.
